What is Core HR?
Core HR is referred to as the umbrella under which all the basic functions of the HR are being summed up, such as the basic data captured about employees and the software used to manage basic HR processes. This software can be typically used in three distinct ways:
· To refer the basic functions of an HR department;
· To mean the basic data captured about employees;
· As shorthand for the core HR software needed to enable the first two.

· Sick days and vacation days
· Documentation for mandatory training
· Worker eligibility forms documenting right to work in the country for employment

These self-service portals may enable managers or employees the capabilities to make updates to the basic employee information, thereby boosting the accuracy of such information and avoiding delays in updates; getting information on pays and benefits; accessing training; delivering resorts, and more.
These portals are very convenient as they are being offered via mobile apps and can be overviewed on desktops and every employee is being provided with specific login credentials.
